Carol A. (Baccari) Gaudet 80, of Franklin, died peacefully, at her home on Tuesday March 25, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Louis G. George Gaudet.Born in Newton, January 18, 1934 a daughter of the late Giovanni and Donata (Cedrone) Baccari she was raised and educated in Newton, and was a graduate of Our Lady of Help Christians parochial school in Newton. She lived in Franklin since 1960. For more than 18 years, Carol worked at the Wrentham District Court as a secretary. She loved caring for her family, was a longtime poll worker at Franklin elections, and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother, and was a communicant of St. Marys Church, Franklin. Surviving in addition to her husband of 57 years are 3 sons; Brian L. Gaudet and his wife Patti of Norfolk, Gary G. and David A. Gaudet both of Franklin, 11 grandchildren; Nicole, Gary, Michael, Jesse, Michael, Meghan, Michaela, Thomas, Elizabeth, Matthew, Christopher and 2 great grandchildren; Hayden and Shelby. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was also the mother of the late Thomas V. and Anthony Gaudet, and the sister of the late Daniel, Louis and Antoinette Baccari, Nina Wilson, Mary Lorenzo, Josephine Fuller, Teresa Lorenzo, Rita Leone, Clementina Leone and Joanne LaCava. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday Mar. 31st, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
