Catherine A. (Seviour) Choate 85, of Franklin formerly of Medway, died April 19, in the Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard Choate who died in 1977. Born in Milford, December 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Gordon and Alice (Kelliher) Seviour, Mrs. Choate was raised in Milford and had lived in Medway and Franklin for most of her life. She was a graduate of Milford High School. Mrs. Choate had been a waitress at the Cock and Kettle Restaurant in Uxbridge for over 25 years. Catherine enjoyed knitting, sewing, refurnishing furniture, and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Richard Choate of Rochester, New Hampshire, Arthur Choate and his wife Betsy of Douglas, and Cheryl Nickerson of Franklin. She is also survived by her sisters, Helen "Jean" Blair of Medway, Doris Ann "Dot" Henry of Hilton Head South Carolina, and Alice Hassapelis and her husband James of Stockton Springs, Maine. She was the sister of the late Robert Seviour. Catherine is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Richard and Catherine Nickerson, Dylan and Ryan Choate, and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday April 24 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:00. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway.
