Christine M. LaFlamme Obituary
Christine Marie LaFlamme, 67, of Wrentham, passed away peacefully with her loving husband David by her side on January 17, 2017 in the Stanley R. Tippett Hospice House, Needham. Born in Boston on December 24, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Graham) Dunner. Christine graduated from Mansfield High School. She was employed at Gamma Diagnostic Labs and the Mallinkrodt Pharmaceutical for over 20 years. Her true passion was being employed at the Franklin Mill doing what she loved best Being a Seamstress, she was born to sew. She loved creating heirloom christening gowns and beautiful dresses and hats to match for family and friends. She loved needlework, knitting and crocheting and all crafts. She loved to travel, visiting many countries throughout the world and spending time on the beach at Sandy Neck on Cape Cod. She also enjoyed being in her yard and working in the garden growing tomatoes and enjoying all the birds, especially her humming birds. Chris and Dave enjoyed breeding Rhodesian ridgeback dogs as she adored animals of all kinds. She was a former resident of Mansfield and Attleboro before settling in Wrentham. In addition to her husband David, Christine is survived by a son; Jason W. LaFlamme of Wrentham, her siblings; Cheryl Dei and her husband Michael of Dennis, MA, David Dunner and his wife Mary of South Attleboro, and Diann Wallace and her husband Kevin of South Attleboro, her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Parsons and Vincent Dunner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 9 AM - 12:30 PM in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Wrentham, followed by a funeral Mass at 1 PM in St. Marys Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham, followed by a luncheon at Lucianos at Lake Pearl on Creek St., Wrentham. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to: Stanley R. Tippett Hospice House, 920 South Street, Needham, MA 02492.
