Concetta "Tina" (Annessi) Nompleggi 87, of Franklin, died peacefully, Saturday July 5, 2014 at the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence in Worcester, following an illness. She was the wife of the late Dominic J. Nompleggi who died in 2005. Born April 6, 1927 in Boston, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elena (Sarno) Annessi, she was a former resident of the North End and Dedham before moving to Franklin in 2000. She was raised and educated in Boston's North End and attended Simmons College where she earned an associate degree in merchandising. She worked as a manager for Filene's and at the Massachusetts State House. While living in Franklin she worked at Dean College. She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, traveling, walking and was a member of St. Mary's Church, Franklin. "Tina" is survived by her son Dr. Dominic J. Nompleggi and his wife Dr. Ann Brown of Worcester, a sister Antoinette "Toni" Iantosca of Dedham and her 2 grandchildren, Victoria and Elizabeth. She was the sister of the late John Annessi and Norma Arruda. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday July 9th, at 11:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church 1 Church Sq. at 12 PM. Her interment will be held privately. Calling hours are Tues. from 4-7PM.
