Donald E. Eddie Theriault, 77, of Franklin died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at his home; he was the husband of Beverly A. (Sullivan) Theriault for the past 49 years. Born in Milton, Sept. 6, 1933, the son of the late Joseph G. and Marie (Surette) Theriault, Mr. Theriault was raised in Milton and had lived in Franklin for the past 48 years. Mr. Theriault was a graduate of Milton High School and had been a self-employed painting contractor in Franklin for many years. Mr. Theriault served in the Navy during the Korean War attaining the rank of Seaman First Class. He enjoyed traveling and gardening but above all his life was about his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Helen R. Mullen of Franklin, Michelle A. Barone and her husband John of Lincoln, R.I., Edward D. Theriault of Framingham, Renea M. Pisani and her husband Stephen of Franklin and Donald E. Theriault Jr., and his wife Linda of Mission Viejo, Calif. He is also survived b his sisters Yvonne Leonard and Ann Marie Sullivan of Westwood. Eddie was also the grandfather of John, Michael and Nicholas Barone, Zachary, Joshua and Nicole Pisani and Jordan, Donald E. III and Lucas Theriault. His funeral was held on Saturday, Sept. 11, from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), at 11:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church at Noon. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Calling hours were held Friday from 4-8. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the UMASS Memorial Foundation Clinical Pediatric Hematology Oncology, 333 South St., Shrewsbury, Mass 01545.
