Donna Elaina Batog, 55 of Seffner, Florida passed away suddenly on December 24, 2016 following a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Donna was born at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, the daughter of Retired Major Stanley J. Batog and G. Paulina Batog, who predeceased her. Donna was raised and educated in Franklin, Massachusetts and graduated from Franklin High School in 1979. After high school, Donna moved to New Hampshire. While living in New Hampshire, Donna welcomed the birth of her daughter, Nicole Laina. During this time, Donna also began working in the banking and mortgage industry. Donna eventually moved to Florida, where she had the opportunity to reinvent herself by following her dream of working as an auto mechanic. When her dream was sidelined by an automobile accident, Donna made a return to the banking and mortgage industry. While working in the industry, Donna met Tony and Joshua Kelly-Morgan, who over the years, despite lifes obstacles remained friends who became family. During her long career, Donna worked in credit and underwriting for Chemical Bank, Chase Bank and UBS holding various titles. Due to her illness, Donna retired early from UBS as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. It was in Florida that, Donna met the love of her life, Renee. In 2009, Donna returned to Massachusetts to celebrate her marriage to Renee surrounded by family and friends. Together, Donna and Renee shared almost twenty-five years. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her favorite team the Patriots, shopping with her daughter, going to the gun range with her wife and riding her Harley. Donna loved dogs and caring for her boys, Petey and Hurley, and her Grandpuppy, Chewie. Donna was a brave, kind hearted person and loyal friend. She will be missed by many. Donna is survived by her wife, Renee Batog, her daughter, Nicole Batog-Huffman and her wife, Tina Huffman, all of Seffner, Florida, her sisters, Denise Batog and Deborah Batog, her brother, Danny Batog and his wife, Jayne, all of Franklin, Massachusetts, her brother-in-law Benjamin Ruiz and his wife, Victoria, of Collierville, Tennessee, brother-in-law Michael Ruiz, of Kentucky, brother-in-law Matthew Bartholomew and his wife, Shannon, of Tampa, Florida and her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew. A celebration of Donnas life with family and friends will be held on May 20th .
