Donna J. DiPlacido Obituary
Donna J. DiPlacido, 76, of Foxboro, passed peacefully on September 29, 2016 in New England Sinai Hospital, Stoughton. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. DiPlacido, Sr. Born in Natick on July 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Ruth (Day) Lukens. Donna was a graduate of King Philip High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Anderson Motor Lines in Plainville and AMR in Natick prior to retirement. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, and crocheting. She also liked to travel and take day trips. Donna served as a volunteer at the VA in Dedham and was very active in the Federated Church in Norfolk. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her retirement home in Port Orange, Florida. Donna is survived by a two sons; Emil D. DiPlacido and his wife Rosanne of Henryville, PA, and Richard F. DiPlacido, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Bethel, Maine, a granddaughter; Kaitlin Hebert and her husband Adam of Foxboro, and two brothers; Philip Lukens of Franklin, and David Lukens of Norfolk. She was the sister of the late Frank Lukens. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, October 3rd from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Wrentham. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 4th at 11 a.m. in the Federated Church of Norfolk, 1 Union Street, Norfolk. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery, Walpole.
