Doris A. (Bellardi) Marsh, 80, of Franklin, died peacefully Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham, following an illness. She was the wife of Warren P. Marsh for 39 years, until his passing in 2008. Born Sept. 10, 1931, in Boston, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Donofrio) Bellardi, she was a resident of Franklin for the past four years, and was a former longtime resident of Cottonwood Shores, Texas. She was raised and educated in the Boston area while living in Readville, and was a graduate of the former Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. For many years she worked as the head operating room nurse at Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, reading, arts and crafts, and dancing. Doris is survived by a daughter, Linda M. Kelleher and her husband, Richard, of Franklin; three sisters, Palmy Cardinal and her husband, Fred, of Norwood, Sylvia Burns of Dedham, and Mary Finn of Mashpee. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Nicole M. DiVitto and her husband, Steven; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of the late Bill Burns and Jack Finn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service for Doris and Warren on Wednesday, March 28, at 10:45 a.m., at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home (www.oterifuneralhome. com), 33 Cottage St., Franklin. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Calling hours are Wednesday, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the service. Due to floral limitations at the cemetery, donations in their memory sent to the , 5 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379, would be appreciated.
