Dorothy M. (White) Lombardi, 95, of Franklin died August 12 in the Forge Hill Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late John N. Lombardi, Sr. who died in 2008. Born in Framingham, February 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Edward S. and Anna V. (Fennel) White, Mrs. Lombardi had lived for many years in Franklin before moving to Norwood where she lived from 1968 until returning to Franklin 2 years ago. She had been an inspector for the Polaroid Corporation for many years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, trivia games, crafts and being with her family. She is survived by her children, John N. Lombardi, Jr and his wife Paula of Franklin, Stephen A. Lombardi and his wife Shirley of Franklin, Rosanna M. Frickert and her husband Greg of Randolph and Daniel Lombardi and his wife Debbie of Walpole. She was the sister of the late Edward White, James White, Leo White and Raymond White. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary White of Walpole. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chris Lombardi and his wife Charlene, Jennifer Lombardi, John Lombardi and his wife Kristin and Liliana Frickert. She was the grandmother of the late Scott Lombardi. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Corrinne, Ryan, Gabriella, Maggie, Jeff and Kathie Lombardi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15 in St. Marys Church, Franklin at Noon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. In the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Friends of Franklin, 50 Corbin Street, Franklin, Ma 02038. The family would like to thank the staff at Benchmark Forge Hill and the Nurses at Steward Hospice & Visiting Angels for their compassionate care.
