Obituary Condolences

Elleanor M. (Stewart) VanLeeuwen 88, of Attleboro, and a former longtime resident of Franklin, died peacefully Sunday November 4, 2012 at the Life Care Center in Attleboro, following a long illness. Born March 22, 1924 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Herbert C. and Pansy G. (Usher) Stewart she was raised and educated in Franklin, and also had lived in Wrentham for many years. She worked at the former Parmenter Farms in Franklin, was an administrative assistant for the American Red Cross in Attleboro, and was a devoted mother to her children. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and St. Marys Church, Wrentham. Eleanor is survived by her children; James R. Vanleeuwen of Orlando, Fla., Eileen M. Lozzi of Franklin, Patricia LaChapelle of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Judith Mutchler of Taunton, a brother Lester Stewart of Attleboro and 4 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. She is the mother of the late Kathleen Harwood & Susan Elizabeth VanLeeuwen, & sister of the late Helen Hale and Herbert C. Stewart, Jr., & Eleanor is the former wife of James R. VanLeeuwen. A Funeral Mass was held Saturday November 10th, in St. Marys Church 130 South St. Wrentham, MA 02093. Interment followed at Union Street Cemetery, Franklin. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the directions of the Charles F.
