Elizabeth Betty (Daglian) Dayian 89, of Franklin, died peacefully at her home Monday October 27, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence S. Dayian for 69 years. Born in Providence, May 24, 1925 a daughter of the late Setrak and Araxy (Serdjenian) Daglian, she came to Franklin at an early age, and was a 1944 graduate of Franklin High School. She worked for many years as a dental assistant, and in an optometrist office. Her adult life was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and art work. Her home is filled with painted tins and art work she did over the years. As a parishioner of St. Johns and St. Pauls Episcopal Church, she served on the altar guild taking care of flowers and linens. Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son Lawrence S. Dayian, Jr. and his wife Terry of Sandwich, a daughter Karen Russo and her husband Joe of Franklin, 2 grandchildren Sarah Russo and Christine Desjardin, 2 brothers Neshan Daglian and his wife Roberta of South Hadley, John Daglian and his wife Shirland of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service Saturday Nov. 8th, at 12 noon at St. Johns Episcopal Church 237 Pleasant St. Franklin. Private interment will take place in Union St. Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to; Asera Care Hospice 27 Midstate Dr. Auburn, MA 01501 would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles F.
