Emelia M. (Pasquale) DeBaggis 87, of Franklin, died peacefully, Friday May 29, 2015 at Milford Regional Medical Center, following an illness. She was the wife of the late Michael A. DeBaggis, who died in 1989. Born July 2, 1927, in Woonsocket, RI a daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Villante) Pasquale, she was a longtime Franklin resident. She was raised and educated in Woonsocket, and worked for the former Dante & Paris Company of Attleboro, before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to Cape Cod, going to the casinos, and out to eat. Emelia is survived by two sons; Paul M. DeBaggis of Franklin and Michael A. DeBaggis of Marlborough, a brother, Albert Pasquale of North Smithfield, her longtime companion Alfred W. McNamee of Johnston, RI, and her nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Josephine DesNoyers, Virginia DAmelio, John Pasquale, Rose Pasquale, and Frank Pasquale, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday June 2nd at 11:45AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a graveside service at 12:30PM at St. Marys Cemetery, Franklin. Calling hours are Monday 5-7PM at the funeral home.
