F. Jeannette (James) Moulton, 82, of Franklin died Friday, May 21, 2010, in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester; she was the wife of the late Paul M. Moulton who died 2004. Born in Cohasset, April 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Percival and Ida (Campbell) James, Mrs. Moulton grew up in Cohasset and had lived in Franklin since the early 1950s. Mrs. Moulton was a graduate of Boston University. She first was a teacher at Dean Jr. College, where she met her future husband Paul. Jeannette then went on to teach 1st grade in Franklin for over 30 years before her retirement. Mrs. Moulton enjoyed to travel, and was an active member of the Franklin Federated Church. She volunteered extensively; she helped with the Meals on Wheels program, FISH, the "Warm Puppies" and was a member of the Alden Club. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Moulton of Franklin, Elizabeth Moulton of Andover, Vermont and Margaret Moulton Firinne of Amherst. She is also survived by her sister Carol Warren of Marianna, Fla., and her grandchildren, Michael, four brothers and one sister. Her funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 25, in the Franklin Federated Church at 11 a.m. Burial was private. Visitation was in the Church on Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Franklin Federated Church 171 Main St. Franklin, MA 02038. Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 131 Main St., Franklin.
