Frances J. Devlin Obituary
Frances J. Devlin, 94, of Framingham, died peacefully, Friday May 22, 2015 at St. Patricks Manor in Framingham, following a long illness. Born December 15, 1920 in Boston, a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Nora L. (Gagen) Devlin, she was a former resident of Mattapan, and Franklin before moving to Framingham several years ago. She was raised and educated in Boston, and was a 1938 graduate of Roslindale High School and was also a graduate of Boston Clerical Business School. Frances was an administrative assistant at the Boston University School of Medicine for over 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family and was a former communicant of St. Marys Church, Franklin. Frances is survived by a brother Joseph T. Devlin of Framingham and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary L. Scannell, James M. Devlin, Thomas M. Devlin, Eleanor M. Boyle and Louise E. Devlin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her fun- eral Mass Saturday June 13th, at 10AM at St. Patricks Manor 863 Central St. Framingham, MA. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to in memory of Sean Casey Boyle at 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX and in memory of Julie and Michael Mc Carrick, % Dr. Ahmet Uluer, Childrens Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02115.
