Helen F. (Brennan) Robinson, long time resident of Franklin and Plainville, passed away peacefully at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro on November 4, 2015 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late William and Louise (MacDonald) Brennan. Helen was born in Franklin on January 26, 1926 and was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was the devoted wife of 52 years of the late Charles Robinson, Sr. who died in 1997. Helen is survived by her 5 children: Charles Jr. and his wife Janet of Foxboro; Paul and his wife LeeAnn of Rockaway, NJ; Patricia Warchol of Gallatin, TN; James and his wife Noreen of Franklin; and Timothy of Franklin. She was the loving Nana to 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Helen worked as a waitress and hostess at The Bay State Raceway in Foxboro in the 1960s and 70s. She was later employed by Benjamin Franklin Savings Bank in Franklin until her retirement in 1999. Helen enjoyed traveling and vacationing with friends and family. She and her late husband Charles Sr. belonged to the Happy Fourteen, 7 couples that met socially and traveled together in the 1970s and 80s. Travels included trips and ocean cruises to Aruba, Puerto Rico, Nassau, Bermuda, Grenada, Curacoa, Newport and the Eastover Inn. Her family expresses heartfelt thanks to the staff of Madonna Manor for the compassionate care that Helen was shown over the pas 2 years. Donations in Helens memory may be made to Madonna Manor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Monday at 9:15 from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Franklin. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5PM in the funeral home.
