Helen T. Ray Obituary
Helen T. (Ward) Ray, 83, of Uxbridge, died peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Medway Country Manor. She was the beloved wife of Merle E. Ray since 1969. Born in Millis on December 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Burns) Ward. Helen grew up in Millis and graduated from Millis High School. She had resided in Illinois and Milford until moving to Uxbridge in 2003. Helen had worked as a secretary for the U.S. Air Force for many years. She was an avid bowler and antiquer and, along with her husband, enjoyed spending time at the former Brians Restaurant in Northbridge with their many dear friends. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister Patricia Mandeville and her husband Raymond of Millis, a brother John Brother Ward and his wife Jane of Medway and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Thomas and Richard Ward. Her funeral services will be held at a late date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Crowley Funeral home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www. ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
