James R. Menize 70, of Medway, died Wednesday January 22, 2014 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Elena M. (Rovani) Menize. Born January 19, 1944 in Cambridge a son of the late Joseph and Mary (DiCardio) Menize, he was a resident of Medway for the past 20 years and was a former resident of Franklin. He was raised and educated in Cambridge, where he was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School and attended Dean College & Rets Electronic School. James was the retired owner and operator of the former As Time Goes By Antiques and Auction Gallery located in Medway. He was a real estate broker for Century 21 in Worcester, a restaurant manager in Plainville and worked as a tax payer representative for the internal revenue service. He was an avid clock collector as well as antiques and enjoyed all collectables. In addition to his wife of 38 years, he is survived by a son James Menize of Kentucky, a daughter Dawn Jordan of Milford, a brother Robert Menize of Cambridge and a sister Marie Floyd of Bellingham. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Menize. His funeral service and burial will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
