Jeffrey D. Parkhurst, 32, of Boston, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died peacefully, Thursday July 16, 2015 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Born in Framingham, July 20, 1982 a son of Robert N. and Kathleen M. (OSullivan) Parkhurst of Franklin, he was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a 2000 graduate of Franklin High School. At the time of his passing, he had been employed by the Franklin School Department as a custodian, for more than 15 years. Jeffrey loved the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed golf, vegetable gardening, the beach, camping, the guitar, drums, and jamming with his cousins. Surviving in addition to his father and mother, include his maternal grandmother Helen OSullivan of Milford, 2 brothers, Brian E. Parkhurst of Franklin, Kevin R. Parkhurst and his wife Anna of Honkaa, Hawaii, an uncle Jack OSullivan and his wife Anne of Mendon, an aunt Maureen Kane of Up- ton, 2 cou- sins, Mike Kane and his wife El- yse of Sto- ughton and Pete Kane of Upton, and his Rock and Love of his Life Emerald L. Gravel of Boston, and his beloved cat Rudy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Thursday July 23rd, from 4-7PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. His funeral service with interment at St. Marys Cemetery, Franklin is private.
