Judith S. Moreau Obituary
Judith Svea (Carlson) Moreau, 76 of Franklin passed away suddenly on August 18, 2017 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of her beloved soulmate Ernest R. Moreau, a.k.a. Bumpa. A lifelong Norfolk resident, she lived in Newcastle ME for 20 years upon retirement, returning to the area 4 years ago. She was a 1959 graduate of King Philip Regional High School, and was a nursing assistant at the former Medfield State Hospital and Pondville Hospital, OR secretary at Southwood Hospital, office manager for Dr. John Frasca, and after retirement, served as the deputy town clerk for the town of Newcastle, ME. She was the beloved mother of Allison Bickum and her husband Christopher of Frye Island, ME, Richard Dill and his wife Carol of Bellingham, Majliss Brouwer and her husband Jeffrey of Walpole, Roy Nelson and his wife Kerri of Plainville, and stepmom to Kenneth Moreau and Carolyn of Maryland. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren Ryan Moreau, Caitlin Dewitt, Amanda Bickum, Victoria Dill, Taylor Dill, Thomas Nelson, Raymond Brouwer, Roy Brouwer, Samuel Nelson, Erik Nelson, and great-grandchildren Paige, Connor and Patrick Moreau. She is survived by her loving siblings Marnie Cornell of Plainville, Maddie Cantoreggi and her husband Robert of Foxboro, Richard Carlson and his wife Louise of Palm Harbor, FL, Sally Austin of North Attleboro, and Robert Carlson and his wife Joan of Norfolk, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her favorite cousin Raoul Svensson of Sweden. Visiting hours will be held at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street in Wrentham on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday the 23rd at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick Street in Norwood. Interment will be at the Norfolk Cemetery at a later date.
