Obituary Condolences

Kenneth E. Fleming Sr , 77, of Debary FL, passed away on Sunday July29, 2012. Ken was born in Boston, lived for many years in Norfolk, later retiring to Dennis before moving to DeBary. Ken attended Quincy High School and Northeastern University, and worked as a financial analyst for Honeywell. He was president of Pop Warner Football and on the board of Little League in Norfolk. As a communicant of St. Judes Parish he was a religious education teacher, lector, and Eucharistic minister, involved in Worldwide Marriage Encounter and with his wife eventually becoming coordinators for the Archdiocese of Boston. Following the death of their son, Christopher, Ken and his wife became actively involved in bereavement ministry. Ken served as a sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved spending time with his family. Ken is survived by his wife of 57 years Peg Niland Fleming, and by his daughters Karen Ianacone of Manchester CT, Sandra (Brian) Butler of Norfolk, and son Kenneth E. Fleming Jr. of DeBary, FL. He was father of his late son, Christopher. Also survived by grandchildren Kathleen Monroe, Matthew and Ryan Ianacone, Michael, Evan, and Emily Butler; four great-grandchildren; brothers Richard Fleming of Brewster and Bruce Fleming of Ocala FL, sisters Judith Borgstrom of Claremont NH, and Gail Merrihew of Brewster, and many nieces and one nephew. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Judes Church in Norfolk on Saturday August18, at 11 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to of Central and North Florida, 378 Center Pointe Circle #1280 Altamonte Springs, FL 32701
