Lavorinella M. Laura (Nardone) Tenaglia 91, of Franklin, died peacefully, at home, surrounded by family, Sunday May 6, 2018 following an illness. She was the wife of the late Umberto Tenaglia. Born February 23, 1927, in Franklin, a daughter of the late Alexander and Maria (Constantino) Nardone, she had lived in Lanciano, Italy from 1933 to 1948, and then returned to Franklin. She was a retired seamstress and had worked for the Whiting & Davis Company. Lavorinella enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and cooking. She was a longtime communicant of St. Marys Church, Franklin, was a member of St. Marys Catholic Womens Club, and the Quattro Eroi #1414 Franklin Sons of Italy, and was a member of the Franklin Senior Center Sunshine Club. Laura is survived by her sons, Ralph L. Tenaglia and his wife Penny of Franklin and Aldo Tenaglia and his wife Alessandra of Althea, Spain, a sister in law, Anna Nardone, grandchildren, Michelle Miller of Franklin, Robert Tenaglia of Wareham, Jonathan and his wife Christina Tenaglia of Franklin, Alessandro Tenaglia and Maria Pia Tenaglia of Althea, Spain. Also surviving are her cherished great grandchildren, Autumn Rose Miller and Brayden Tenaglia. She had many nieces and nephews that she loved. She was the sister of the late Guilietta Signoriello and Albert Nardone. Thank you to Salmon Hospice nurses, aids, and doctors. Also to her niece Josie and Paul OConnor, she appreciated all your help and thoughtfulness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday May 11th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thurs. from 5-7PM.
