Lydia M. (DiNardo) Dellorco, 86, of Franklin, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at Caritas Norwood Hospital following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Emilio S. Dellorco who died in 1983. Born in Leominster, April 5, 1924 a daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Campia) DiNardo she had lived in Leominster before coming to Franklin over 50 years ago. Mrs. Dellorco was educated in Leominster schools, and worked for J&A Cleaners in Walpole. She also worked for the former Mr. Josephs catering in Franklin until her retirement. Her interests included spending time with her family, bingo, bowling and trips to Foxwoods Casino. She is survived by two sons; Paul A. Dellorco and his wife Amy of Franklin and Steven R. Dellorco and his wife Susan of Franklin, three brothers Billy, Raymond, and Bobby DiNardo all of Leominster, a sister Clara Longo of Harwich. Also surviving are her grandchildren Paul D., Staci E., Sara A., and Olivia K. Dellorco and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Clancy. Relatives and friends were invited to attend her funeral Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 9:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, 1 Church Square, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours were Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. If desired donations in her memory sent to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
