Margaret A. Houle 88, of Nashua, died peacefully, Tuesday Dec. 10, 2013 at the Kindred Green Briar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, following a long walk with Alzheimer's disease. She was the wife of the late Richard Houle, who died in 2000. Born May 20, 1925 in Norwood, a daughter of Swedish emigrants, the late Carl T. and Anna (Sjodin) Linderoth, she was a former resident of Woonsocket and Franklin, before moving to Nashua in 2001. Margaret was raised and educated in Norwood, and was a homemaker. She was proud of her excellent organizational skills and enjoyed playing the piano, swimming, baking, doing crafts, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; William C. Peterson of Merrimack, NH, Edward S. Peterson of Nashua, NH, and Janice A. Harvey and her husband James of Mendon. Also surviving are her beloved 6 grandchildren; Jeremy Harvey, Jonathan Harvey, Justin Harvey, Rachael DeFelice, Lauren Peterson and Clayton Peterson and 9 great-grandchildren and her cat Smokey. She was the former wife of the late Harold E. Peterson. She is the sister of the late Eva Ferdinand, Olof Gran, and George Linderoth, Elsie Linderoth and Carl Linderoth and the grandmother of the late Janice S. Peterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Monday Dec. 16th at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin. A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM prior to the service.
