Marilyn T. (Earley) Croke 81, of Franklin, died peacefully, Wednesday January 13, 2016 at the Serenity Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Croke and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22, 2015. Born June 24, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Raymond and Philomena (Savarese) Earley, she was a former resident of New Jersey, before moving to Franklin in 1987. She was raised and educated in Brooklyn, where she attended Fontbonne Hall Academy, and was a graduate of Berkeley Business School. Marilyn worked as a secretary for the M.W. Kellogg Company. She enjoyed traveling around the world, visiting such places as Europe, China and Australia. Marilyn also treasured spending time with her family and grandchildren. A former religious education teacher at St. Francis Church in Metuchen, New Jersey, she was also a member of the Memory Cafe at the Franklin Senior Center and was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Womens Group. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Richard M. Rick Croke and his wife Tina of Lake Luzerne, New York and Kerri A. Bertone and her boyfriend Paul Danello of Franklin. Also surviving are her grandchildren Emily T. Bertone and Joseph M. Bertone. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life and Sharing of Memories Saturday Jan. 16th from 1-5PM at the home of Kerri A. Bertone 85 Hillside Rd. Franklin, MA 02038. Her interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472. Arrangements are under the care of the Charles F.
