Mary E. (Small) Jenkins 66, a longtime Franklin resident, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Milford Regional Medical Center, shortly after her arrival there. Born in Boston, Aug. 30, 1943, a daughter of the late Gordon W. and Mary A. (Connor) Small, she was raised in the Islington section of Westwood, and was a 1961 graduate of St. Clare High School in Roslindale, and a 1963 graduate of Burdett College in Boston. For more than 15 years, she worked at Budget Printing Center, and also worked as a wedding hostess at the Franklin Lodge of Elks Hall in Franklin. She was a past president and member of the former Franklin Emblem Club, in Franklin, and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three sons; Michael J. Naff of Huntsville, Ala., Kevin J. Naff and his wife Dawn of Milford, John G. Naff and his wife Kara of Franklin, a daughter Cristine M. Rembold and her husband Jeffrey of Rochester, New York, five sisters; Helen Capone of Wrentham, Kathleen Connolly of Downey, California, Susan Small of Attleborough Margaret Naff of Palm Bay, Fla., and Cynthia Kellner of Manchester, N.H. Also surviving are her grandchildren Brandon M. Carroll, Alyssa and Jakob Naff, Sara, Grace, Christopher, Mary and Margaret Rembold, Emily and William Naff, Choloe and Elizabeth Naff, and many nieces and nephews, and longtime best friends David and Theresa Foley of Franklin. Relatives and friends were invited to attend her funeral Mass Wednesday, June 23, at 10 a.m., in St. Marys Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin. Interment was held privately. There were no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory, sent to the Genesis Fund, 52 Second Ave., 1st Floor, Waltham, MA 02451 would be appreciated.
