Obituary Condolences

Mary Ellen (Molly) DeBaggis passed away peacefully, at Medway Country Manor with her caretakers and loving staff on Saturday September 28, 2013. She was the daughter of Patrick Francis Holohan and Kathleen (Katie) Maguire Holohan. Born on April 4, 1925 in Leitrim, Ireland, she came to the United States as a young woman. Here she met and married the love of her life, Victor C. DeBaggis to whom she was married for 52 years until his death on March 10, 2007. Victor and Molly enjoyed vacations to Florida and Ireland as well as time spent with their extended families. Molly lived at her home under the care of her niece, Roberta DeBaggis Trahan, assisted by Lisa DeBaggis Oxford until her move to Medway Country Manor in August of 2011. There she was embraced by the staff and other residents and was part of the 'dinner club' each evening. Molly was a former cook at Saint Mary's Rectory, and worked for the Hillsinger Corporation until her retirement. She was a Communicant of Saint Mary's Church. She is survived by her sisters, Ann E. Holland of Allston and Kathleen Beaulieu of Boston; her Brother Peter G. Holohan of England; her cousin Marcella Stone of Allston and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John J. Holohan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Wednesday Oct. 2nd, at 12 Noon in St. Marys Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10:00AM ~ 11:30AM prior to the mass at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her memory be made to Saint Mary Church or Medway Country Manor c/o Activity Fund 115 Holliston St. Medway, MA 02053.
