Nicholas A. Bartzokis Obituary
Nicholas A. Bartzokis, 57, of Franklin, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Milford Regional Medical Center, shortly after his arrival there. He is the beloved husband of Kristine M. (Stoughton) Bartzokis. Born in Worcester, March 20, 1959, the son of Magdalene (Tsantinis) Bartzokis of Needham and the late Andrew Bartzokis, he was raised and educated in Needham, and was a 1978 graduate of Needham High School. While at school there, he was an outstanding member of the schools basketball team. He lived in Franklin for 2 and a half years, and formally resided in Needham and Millis. He was employed as a building engineer with the Tauraus Management Services Co. Mr. Bartzokis was an avid golfer, enjoyed travel especially to Las Vegas and Aruba, was an automobile buff, and an avid Rolling Stones fan. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband and father who always wanted to spend time with family. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother include his son: Stephen N. Bartzokis and his girlfriend Nicollette Peterson of Winthrop, a sister Betsy Forbes and her husband Brian of Hanson, 5 nieces: Kerrie Forbes, Kathleen and Erin McGrath, Emily Melanson, and Elizabeth Abbott. 6 nephews: Andrew Forbes and his wife Miglena, William Forbes, Richard and Christopher Melanson, Bryan and Evan Abbott. He also leaves extended family members, friends and cousins. He is also the brother of the late George Bartzokis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston. Internment will follow in the family lot in Needham Cemetery. Calling Hours are Monday July 18, 2016 from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Charles F.
