Patricia J. (Luff) Ostrand, 85, a longtime Franklin resident, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at the Franklin Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, following a long illness. Born in Norwood, June 3, 1925, a daughter of the late C. Roy and Anna L. (Sullivan) Luff, she formerly lived in the greater Boston area for many years before moving to Franklin. She was a retired secretary for the GAF Corp. She was an avid reader, enjoyed bowling, and was well known for painting and decorating "Tee shirts and sweat shirts, which were given as gifts. Her only survivor is her sister Dorothy. A. Luff of Franklin, and many friends. Relatives and friends were invited to attend her funeral Wednesday, at 11:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com with a funeral Mass in St. Nary's Church, at noon. Interment followed in the family lot in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon. There were no calling hours. Donations in her memory sent to Purr-fect Cat Shelter, PO Box 548 Medway, MA 02053 would be appreciated.
