Richard G. Lozzi 65 of Franklin died April 15 in the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. Born in Milford, January 4, 1945, the son of the late Achille and Angelina (Bravo) Lozzi, Mr. Lozzi was a lifelong Franklin resident. Mr. Lozzi attended Franklin Schools and had been a hard worker for many years at several area construction companies. Mr. Lozzi served in the Army National Guard for six years during the Viet Nam War. He was had been a member of the Franklin Rod and Gun Club. Richard loved wildlife and was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman and enjoyed to go camping. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Lozzi, Kerry Dailey and Richard Lozzi Jr. all of Blackstone. He is also survived by his sister Marianna Ceruti of Sunrise, Florida and was the brother of the late Achille Jr., Robert, Joseph, Richard and Bridget Lozzi. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Toni, Anthony and Corey. His funeral was held on Monday April 19 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Marys Church at 10:00. Burial was private. Calling hours were on Sunday from 3-7. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the 30 Speen St., Framingham, Mass 01701.
