Richard J. Molloy Obituary
Richard J. Molloy, Sr. 77, of Medway, died peacefully, Monday May 30, 2016 at Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness. Born April 1, 1939 in Milford, a son of the late James A. and Helen A. (Westkage) Molloy, he was a former longtime Franklin resident, before moving to Bellingham and then to Medway. He was raised and educated in Franklin, and along with his brother, was a former co-owner of Molloys Garage in downtown Franklin. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, talking with the customers at the garage, watching the New England Patriots, and anything having to do with cars. He was a former member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks. He is survived by a son, Richard J. Molloy, Jr. of Woonsocket, a daughter, Jessica Hayes and her husband Ronald of Bellingham, Mary Jane (DeGrazio) Molloy of Bellingham, a brother James C. Jimmy Molloy and his wife Joan of Franklin, a sister Kathleen Signoriello and her husband Guy of Franklin, his grandchildren; Richard J. Molloy III, Tiffany, Landon and Grace Hayes and Serenity Levasseur. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday June 3rd, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8PM.
