Robert Byron Durham, 62, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the son of the late Walter and Sally (Urban) Durham. Robert was born in Attleboro, Nov. 10, 1948, and was raised in Foxborough where he graduated from high school. He had been a resident of Franklin for the past 20 years. Robert first worked for National Car Rental at Logan International Airport in Boston and then worked for several years at the Brockton Post Office. He worked for more than 10 years for Metaloy Inc. in Plainville, and last worked for Richard M. Davis Builder Inc. before retiring. Robert loved spending time with his grandchildren and family and was an avid New England Patriots fan. He always enjoyed helping others and was quite the family handyman. He was the beloved father of Kevin Durham and his wife, Marianne, of Medfield, and Diana Campbell and her husband, Peter, of Franklin; loving grandfather of Liam, Sadie, Shelby, Shane, Holly and Julie; brother of Francis Durham and his wife, Mona, of Foxborough, Jean Davis and her husband, Richard, of Foxborough, and the late Walter Durham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxborough. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home in Foxborough. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxborough.
