Rosemarie DAscenzo Obituary
Rosemarie Rose (Vignone) DAscenzo 78, of Franklin, died peacefully, with her family at her side, Monday December 19, 2016 following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Ovidio DAscenzo, who died in 1997. Born in Milford, March 22, 1938 a daughter of the late John and Anna (Darezzo) Vignone, she was a lifelong Franklin resident. She was raised and educated in Franklin and worked as a supervisor for 20 years at the Wrentham State School. Rose was also a longtime school bus driver for the town of Franklin. She enjoyed swimming, go- ing to the beach, gardening, watching the Patriots, listening to music, playing golf and cooking. Rose also assisted at the Kennedy-Donovan Center in Milford. Rose is survived by her children, John O. DAscenzo of Milford, Maria E. DAscenzo of Milford and Ann C. Deptula of Franklin, 3 granddaughters, Diana Holske of Franklin, Alisha Deptula of Fr anklin, Katie Deptula of Franklin, and 2 great grandsons, Jayden Holske & Troy Hadley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday Dec. 23rd, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thurs. from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Special Olympics Massachusetts 512 Forest St. Marlborough, MA 01752.
