Therese M. (Damplo) Berardi, 81, of Leominster, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was the beloved wife of Ralph L. Berardi who died in 2009. Born in Medway on January 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Saleme) Damplo. Mrs. Berardi grew up in Medway, graduated from Medway High School and was Salutatorian of her class. She has been a Leominster resident for the past 20 years. Mrs. Berardi was an exceptional receptionist for various companies throughout her working career. Family was most important to Mrs. Berardi and she cherished the time spent with them. She is survived by her children, Donna M. Flavin and her life partner Claudia Furness of Sun City, CA; Ralph L. Berardi and his wife Sandra of Rutland, MA; Stephen G. Berardi and his wife Brenda of Shrewsbury, MA; Therese A. Manseau and her husband Mark of Holden and Christine M. Bodily and her husband Steven of Helotes, TX. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Buchino of Lake Havasu, Arizona, nine grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and her brother, Anthony, Antoinet and Mary. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday, December 7 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes. com) at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery. An invitation will be extended to family and friends following the burial to a reception at the VFW Post, 123 Holliston St. in Medway. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 | 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Immaculate Conception Parish, P.O. Box 95, Lancaster, MA 01523 for appreciation of the many caregivers and visits provided by the staff and parish family.
