Walter Bentley Obituary
Walter Bentley of Milford MA and Cocoa FL passed away Nov. 23 at his home in Cocoa. He was born in Woonsocket RI July 4th 1937, Son of the late Ernest and Mary (Smith) Bentley. He served in the U.S. Army and was a crane operator for many years at O.B. Hill until a disability forced his retirement. Walter was member of the Cocoa Eagles #3550, Franklin Elks #2136, Itams of Milford, Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club, The Dramatic Club of Milford and several other clubs. He is survived by his brother Robert and Robert's wife Patty of Cocoa, sons James and Timothy of CA, his daughter Patricia of Milford and his daughter-in-law Dianne Bentley of Milford. His grandchildren Michael Brown, Caitlin Bentley and Iris Bentley of Milford, James Bentley of Uxbridge and Timma Bentley of CA. He also leaves his great granddaughter Natalia Jordan of Milford. He leaves his Ex Wife Dorothy Bentley of Hopedale and his nieces and nephews all of which he was very close to. He leaves his dear friends Gibby of Franklin and Ron Nydam of Milford along with countless other close friends of both MA and FL. He is predeceased by his son Thomas and brother William. Walter was a generous, family man with a love for El Caminos. He made a great impact in many lives; he will be greatly missed. Services will be held in FL. Dec 9 and at a future date in MA.
