William H. Sullivan Obituary
William H. Sullivan, 78, of North Fort Myers, FL, previously of Franklin, MA, died on Monday, March 3, 2014. Born on June 7, 1935, Bill was one of D. Lorraine (Johnson) and William H. Sullivans 5 children and was raised in Charlestown, MA. He was a 1953 graduate of Cathedral High School and a Double Eagle from Boston College earning his BA degree in 1957 and his MBA in 1967. As a Captain, Bill served in the US Army from 1957 to 1961 and was stationed at Fort Sill, OK and Fort Mead in Maryland where he was an award winning marksman for the rifle team. Bill spent the majority of his career working at Honeywell Information Systems as a logistics manager in their mainframe computer operations. Throughout his life, Bill was passionate about his family, his faith, his alma mater, sports and family gatherings. He was active in the Franklins baseball and Chargers Football programs. Bill will be remembered for his generosity, intelligence, passionate discussions and wonderful stories ranging from swimming at the Charlestown Oil-ey, courting Micki, raising his family and his childrens and grandchildrens adventures. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Micki (Porter) Sullivan; his children, Deborah Sullivan of Sarasota, FL, William Sullivan of Bellingham, WA, Cynthia Gerlek of Naples, FL, Daniel and Olivia Sullivan of Grapevine, TX, Paula and Todd Sandham of Franklin, MA, Laura and Rick Bakosh of Oswego, IL and Kevin and Jillian Sullivan of Franklin, MA, 20 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lindsay, Jack, Patrick, Finn, Ali, Victoria, Daniel and Sammy Sullivan, Julian Medel, Lauren, Ana and Liz Driggs, Will, Ricky, John and Clay Bakosh, Kevin, Meg and Brian Sandham and his siblings.
