Kenneth R. Miller, 94, of Franklin, died July 1 in the Franklin Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of E. Jean (Mackintosh) Miller for the past 69 years; she was the love of his life. Born in Franklin, December 25, 1919, the son of the late Roland and Myra (Winant) Miller, Mr. Miller was a lifelong Franklin resident. Mr. Miller had owned and operated Miller Truck Sales in Franklin from 1961-1992. He had previously operated Miller Motor Sales in Franklin. Mr. Miller served in the Army Air Corps during World War II attaining the rank of corporal. Ken and his wife Jean loved camping. They spent many summers camping in Plymouth and many winters on the Gulf shores in Alabama. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge and the Franklin V.F.W. He enjoyed his pet dogs over the years and they gave him a great deal of enjoyment. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Stephen Miller and his wife Cheryl of Franklin, Janet Robinson and her husband Charles of Foxboro and Douglas Miller and his wife Catherine of Wrentham. He was the brother of the late Leslie Miller. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alyson, Kirsten, Kevin, David, William, Bridget, Lauren and Adam. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Aidan, Shae, Ethan, Tyler, Max and Kathryn. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 10:00. Burial will be in Union Street Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Salmon VNA 37 Birch Street, Milford, MA 01757.
