Richard Sullivan Mulloy of Belmont, passed away peacefully Monday April 1st, 2013 in the Meadow Green Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waltham at the age of 81. Born on January 26, 1932 in South Boston; son of the late (Ret.) Capt. Henry F. Mulloy United States Navy
and Mary (Sullivan) Mulloy, Dick was a lifelong resident of Belmont. Dick attended Belmont Schools and Boston College. He then served proudly with the United States Army
during the Korean War
. He owned and operated RSM Industries Incorporated for many years. After his retirement, Dick joined the Brasco Family and Staff at Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels in Waltham & Belmont as a Funeral Home Professional Assistant & Limousine Driver providing care and comfort to families throughout the greater Boston area for over 15 years. Dick lived a very simple way of life, he was passionate about golf and had been a member of the Wayland Country Club in several leagues. In his spare time he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. He is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn (Tobia) Mulloy, his loving children Dr. Elizabeth A. Bowman and her husband Jay of Sarasota, FL., Richard S. Mulloy Jr. and his wife Doreen of Malden, Mark J. Mulloy and his companion Gail Pasquale of Billerica, and John D. Mulloy of Miami, FL., his dear siblings Kathleen Lohnes of Durham, NH and (Ret.) Rear Admiral Paul Mulloy USN and his wife Mary Fran of Falmouth, his cherished grandchildren Jenn, Kerry, Catherine and Megan, and great grandchildren Noelle Connolly and Sullivan Mulloy Connolly. In addition he is survived by many nieces & nephews. Former husband of the late Katherine L. (Howe) Mulloy, grandfather of the late Richard S. Mulloy III, and brother of the late Henry Hank and (Ret.) Commander Charles Chuck Mulloy USN. Funeral Services were held in The Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial in BELMONT and concluded with United States Army Military Honors in recognition of Dicks faithful and honorable service to our Country.
