After a long battle with esophageal cancer, beloved longtime Belmont resident Wade P. Gallagher has passed at the age of 51 on August 8, 2013 after 2am. Wade was born in Lynn, MA on 10/29/61 and grew up in Belmont, MA. He was generous, fearless, always full of life, zest, life of the party, and a great Athlete, especially in hockey. At a young age he trained in masonry which became his longtime trade. He owned several businesses from Suburban Boston to Martha's Vineyard & North Carolina; before courageously launching himself into acting. Wade leaves beloved family of two sons: Joshua & Wade Jr, Mother Elaine, Sisters; Colleen, Joelette, and Corinne, Brother Jim nieces: Jackie, Marilyn, Merrilee, Rylee & Rachael, nephews: Keith, Nicholas, Nathan, Justin, Ariston and Ryan. He also leaves behind his two brother-in-laws, Chris Valstyn and Chris Fallo who were instrumental in helping him fight his cancer. He leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins. Wade will be remembered as an eternal optimist and shining light and will be missed as much as he was loved. We want to welcome all family and friends to gather at 2 Rosary Drive, Watertown, MA., on August 17th after two P.M. in remembrance of Wade. A private ceremony will be held on Marthas Vineyard with immediate family at a later date.
