Obituary Condolences

Dorothy Lillian (Boddy) Wilson, 95, passed away peacefully in her residence on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years, Harold M. Wilson. She is survived by her brother, Gordon G. Boddy, of Hampton, NH; her sister, Constance Greenwood and her l ate husband, Robert, of Andover, MA; a niece, Linda Greenwood Lyons, of Salem, NH; a nephew, Robert G. Greenwood, of Methuen, MA; a step-daughter, June Wilson Kennedy, of Westford, MA; 10 step-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; and her dear friend, Barry Laferriere, of Bolton, MA. She is pre-deceased by a step-son, Warren E. Wilson and a step-daughter, Nancy Wilson Stevens. Dorothy was born in Andover to the late George & Lillian (Lees) Boddy. She attended local schools, graduated from Andover High School and attended the Burdett School of Business in Boston. Dorothy devoted her professional career to equestrian breeding and training of Morgan Horses at Long Hill Farm, as well as raising registered Collies. She was an accomplished painter and artist who enjoyed teaching her skill to students for over 50 years until her recent health decline. Other interests were knitting, watching the birds at her feeders and enjoying the antics of her cats. She was a long-time member of the American Morgan Horse Association. Services are to be held privately under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dorothy Wilson to: American Morgan Horse Association-4066 Shelburne Rd.
