Carolyn M. Padden of Sagamore Beach, formerly of Weymouth and Hingham, passed away peacefully Nov. 23, surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was a devoted member of her faith and enjoyed attending Mass each week. Her faith continued in her love for nature. Carolyn loved working in her garden and feeding the birds in her yard. In her earlier years, Carolyn enjoyed working as a crossing guard in Weymouth, where she grew a love for the children and her job. Her true love revolved around her family, especially cooking for them during the holidays. Beloved wife of John Padden Jr., she was the devoted mother of RoseMarie Driscoll and her husband Robert of Pembroke, Kevin Padden and his wife Fara of Wareham, John Padden III of Quincy, Timothy Padden and his wife Mary of Bourne, Brian Padden of Sagamore Beach, and the late Sheila Padden-King; caring sister of Sheila Wright of Chicago and the late Linda Rockford. Also survived by 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and other loving family members. A funeral Mass was held Nov. 28, in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth.
