Obituary Condolences

Ruth Lindh Ruth E.(Styles) Lindh, a fun loving person who enjoyed her family and friends, loved blueberry picking, loved to travel, and was an avid gardener died Sept 18, 2010 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Home in Danvers, Mass. She was 81. York Beach, Maine held a very special place in her heart having shared many happy times there with her family members vacationing throughout her life. Ruth was raised and educated in Everett, Mass. and moved to Topsfield in the 1950s, where she resided til the late 1970s with her late husband Sidney R.T.Lindh who died in 1981. The couple were charter members of the Topsfield Trinity Episcopal Church. Ruth spent many hours volunteering at many organizations. Ruth spent the next 28 years in St. Augustine, Fla. She came back to N.E. 5 years ago to be closer to family and has resided at Brooksby Village in Peabody, Mass. Ruth has stayed involved at Brooksby, volunteering at the monthly Blood Presure Clinics there. She also introduced "Operation Troop Support," out of Danvers to Brooksby Village. She loved being around people and people loved being around her. Wife of the late Sidney R.T. Lindh, she is survived by her daughters Susan Laustsen and her husband Doug of Groveland, Patricia Mason and her husband Rick of East Kingston, and Cynthia Lindh and her husband Richard Seedner Jr of Cape Neddick, Maine as well as grandchildren Joshua and Alfred Laustsen, Holly Batchelder, Jeffrey Mason and Julia Lindh Seedner and a great-granddaughter Katlyn Batchelder. She is also survived by her sister Sally Woods and her husband Richie of York Beach, Maine and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters. A Memorial service will be on Friday Sept. 24, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church 124 River Rd, Topsfield, MA 01983.
