Arienti Jr., Charles - Quincy  
Charles Arienti, Jr., age 61, of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Seasons Hospice in Milton, surrounded by his loving family. Charlie was born on February 28, 1955 in Quincy, where he was raised and educated. He was a graduate of Boston College High School, Class of 1973, and Northeastern University, Class of 1978. Charlie earned his Masters Degree in Management from Emmanuel College in 2000. He had lived in Braintree for thirty-six years. Charlie served as the Director of Respiratory Care Services at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for twelve years, retiring in 2016. Previously, he was employed for thirty years at the former Quincy City Hospital. He volunteered as a coach and was past president of the Braintree National Little League for many years. Charlie was devoted to his family. Beloved husband and best friend for thirty-eight years of Virginia M. Ginnie (Welch) Arienti.Devoted father of Kenneth A. Arienti of Quincy, Timothy C. Arienti and his wife Ashley of Weymouth.Loving son of the late Charles Arienti, Lieutenant Quincy Fire Dept. and Theresa (Salamone) Arienti. Dear brother of Marie Arienti, Ernest M. Ernie Arienti, Quincy Fire Dept., Retired and his wife Nancy, all of Quincy, and William Billy Arienti, Quincy Fire Dept. and his wife Nancy of Hanover. Brother-in-law of Robert E. Welch, Jr. and his wife Janet, John F. Welch, all of of Bridgewater, and Ann T. Welch of Abington. Charlie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Tuesday, September 13, from 4 | 8 p.m. At the request of the family, interment services will be private.
