Reis, Wilhelmina M. - Braintree  
Wilhelmina Marie (Ferreira) Reis, age 84, died peacefully, Friday, July 3, 2015 at the home of her granddaughter, surrounded by her loving family. Wilhelmina was born in Dorchester where she was raised and educated. She was a graduate of Girls Latin High School and had lived in Braintree for twenty years, previously in Weymouth for forty-three years. She was a waitress in the restaurant industry for many years and later worked at and retired from Radio Shack in Randolph. Wilhelmina was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Braintree Council on Aging. She spent much of her time caring for others and volunteered many hours at the senior center. She especially enjoyed arts and crafts, bingo, walking, breakfasting with her girlfriends and attending 100 Club functions. Wilhelmina was devoted to her family and was well-known for her kind heart and loving spirit. Beloved wife of the late Arnold N. Reis, Boston Fire Department. Devoted mother of Michael A. Reis and his wife Donna of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Loving grandmother of Shannan L. Reis and her husband James J. White of Rockland. Cherished great-grandmother of J. Gavyn White and Ian M. White. Sister of Lillian Bell of Boynton Beach, Fla. Wilhelmina is also survived by several nieces and nephews. At the request of the family funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilhelminas memory may be made to The Hundred Club of MA, 17 Gloucester Street. Boston, MA 02115 in support of families of fallen firefighters and policemen.
