Richard A. Coleman

Richard A. Coleman, age 76, passed away peacefully in his familys presence at South Shore Hospital on Aug. 24, 2013. Richard was born and raised in Arlington and has lived in Braintree since 1966. Beloved husband of Ellen E. (Kelly) Coleman. Devoted father of Diane P. LaRue and her husband Robert of Richmond, Va. Kathleen McCabe and her husband Michael of Whitman, and Ann Marie Horn of Spring Hill, Florida. Loving grandfather of Michael, Katherine, Daniel and Marc. Beloved brother of the late Virginia Lazazzero, Joseph and Paul Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a dedicated H.V.A.C. mechanic for the Blue Cross building and the South station bus terminal both in Boston for many years. At the same time, he owned Coleman Appliance and serviced the South Shore for many years. Funeral from the Clancy Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours were on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
