Francis X. Frank Ciccariella, of Braintree, formerly of Malden, passed away Dec. 4, 2013, after a long illness, at the age of 70. Born in Chelsea, Frank grew up in Malden and graduated from Malden High School, Class of 1960. He then went on to serve in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Frank worked as a draftsman for GE for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. Frank had many passions in life including gardening and yard work. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed making home movies and was a science fiction fan and was a model train enthusiast. Frank had a gift for sharing his humor with people and will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Marian V. (Wilson) Ciccariella. Loving father of David F. Ciccariella of Braintree. Son of the late Frank and Mary Ciccariella. Brother of the late Elena LaFauci. Reposing was at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree. A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Visiting hours were Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial was private. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Franks name to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 308 W.
