Harriet E. (Manning) Pugsley, of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, April 8, 2012, at the age of 87. Harriet was born in Cattaraugus, NY. She was a veteran of the United States Navy, where she served as a Pharmacists Mate during World War II. For more than 20 years, Harriet worked as a Nurses Aide at St. Margarets Hospital in Boston. Harriet was the wife of the late Arthur S. Pugsley Jr. Loving mother of Linda Pugsley of Tampa, FL, Arthur Pugsley III of Rockland, Ann Talieri of Braintree, Barbara Beldycki of GA, Robert Pugsley of Weymouth, Stephen Pugsley of Braintree, Mary Blehl of Orlando, FL, Joan Bailey of Braintree and the late William Pugsley. Devoted sister of Ralph Manning of NY, Mary Bartlett of TN and the late Richard, Elroy, Willard, Hobart and Nobert Manning, Alta Mosher and Marian Warner. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. Harriet will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Reposing at the Cartwright - Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, until 9:15 a.m. Thursday followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Clare Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours were held Wednesday 4| 8 p.m. Burial in the Braintree Cemetery.
