Rita Kaminsky Obituary
Rita (Long) Kaminsky, age 90, passed away in the company of her loving family Friday, April 12, 2013. Most recently a Braintree resident, she grew up in Dorchester and raised her own family in Mattapan. Mrs. Kaminsky was a retired 22-year nurses aide of the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, Roslindale. The beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Kaminsky, she is survived by her devoted children, Carolyn OBrien of Braintree, Judith Dobbins and her husband John of Pittsburgh, Paul A. Kaminsky and his wife Cathy of Middleboro, Barbara A. Arsenault and her husband Fred of Hanson, Patricia Kaminski of Weymouth; and her seven cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Theresa Downing, John and Albert Long. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Church, West Quincy, Tuesday, April 16, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours were held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Monday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
