Vera P. Barry

Vera P. (Zerauskas) Barry, 93 years of age, entered life eternal at her home, Aug. 8, 2011. Vera was born in South Boston, the daughter of the late Anthony and Patricia (Kibart) Zerauskas. She was the wife of the late Anthony R. Barry; and sister of the late Ann Karvelis, formerly of Quincy. She is survived by a nephew, Anthony Karvelis; and a niece, Diane Karvelis, both of Quincy. She is survived by a great-nephew, Quincy Police Officer James Karvelis of Weymouth; and a great-niece, Christine Mackie of Norwood. She also leaves three great great-nephews and a great great-niece. Vera was a graduate of South Boston High School. She enjoyed working in her garden and spending time with family members. A funeral Mass was held Aug. 15, at the Church of St. Thomas More, Elm Street and Hawthorn Road, Braintree. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Arrangements by the Mortimer N.
