Robert C. Miller, 73 years of age, entered Life Eternal at his home in Braintree on Sunday, July 17, 2011 surrounded by his loving family members. He was born in Weymouth July 21, 1937, a son of the late Charles H. Miller and Elizabeth May (Cummings) Miller. Robert graduated from Braintree High School with the Class of 1955 and subsequently received an engineering degree from Northeastern University, Boston. He was an engineer for the Honeywell Corporation. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed playing golf at the Strawberry Valley Golf Course in Abington. He was an avid Red Sox Fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family members including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is the beloved husband of Mary E. (Tanguay) Miller to whom he had been married for fifty-two years. He is the loving father of Susan A. Puleo married to Anthony J. Puleo, Jr. of Taunton, Robert C. Miller, Jr. of Quincy, Stephen Robert Miller of Braintree and Linda Jean Miller of Braintree. He is the devoted grandfather of Kerry A. Lee married to Nathaniel J. Lee of Taunton, Taunton and Briana R. Miller of Quincy. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Rebecca Rossann Lee and Benjamin Joseph Lee. Robert was the brother of the late Charles H. Miller Jr. who is survived by his son, Roberts nephew, Daniel Miller of Hampden, Maine. A Funeral Service was held at the Mortimer N. Peck | Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., Braintree on Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Rev. Fr. Clifford Brown Rector of Christ Church, Quincy, will officate. Burial followed at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree with Military Honors. Visiting hours was held at the funeral home Thursday, July 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be sent to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W.
