Harold C. Miller, of Braintree, died Nov. 2, 2013 at Bay Path in Duxbury. Surrounded by family, Harold passed peacefully joining his wife of 59 years Marilyn G. Miller who passed away on Oct. 24, 2013. Harold was born and raised in Winthrop. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and is a graduate of Boston University. Harold worked in the insurance business for many years and eventually became a partner of Aegis Insurance in Braintree for more than 25 years. Harold was a kind, gentle, patient man who enjoyed reading his paper and watching the Patriots and Bruins games. He leaves behind his children Mark Miller and his wife Sunny of Tulsa, OK, Meredith Miller and her partner Steve Jones of Randolph, and Barry Miller and his wife Chris of Duxbury; his brother Paul Miller and his wife Amy of Winthrop; along with his grandchildren Rebecca and Ryan of Duxbury who adored their "Poppy" very much. He also leaves behind many relatives and friends who will miss his gentle ways. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 10 -11 a.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
